About

Libby is a self-taught photographer who became fascinated with taking pictures about 8 years ago, and has not let up on the shutter button since. She loves taking pictures of water, good food, animals and friends. But especially friends. Natural light is her favorite, naturally.

She is part of a large family with many clever and marvelous siblings and amazing parents.

She loves to laugh and sing and read theology and have good conversations.  Not usually simultaneously.  Although she is rarely without her camera, she also delights in reading, playing violin or piano, baking, or doing anything involving speed.

“For me, one of the most enjoyable challenges about photography is taking pictures of people who aren’t especially photogenic.  It takes some work, but it’s so rewarding to see a person’s true personality come out through genuine facial expressions and gestures when they are really relaxed.  I love showing people that what God made – in themselves – is beautiful.”

“Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;”

Psalm 37:3-6
